It all began at the end of a meal

A lovely evening, a long table, laughter until dessert. Then the moment everyone knows: the guests keep talking in the living room while the host disappears into the kitchen. We wondered why hosting always had to cost an hour of washing up.

Disposable options existed, of course. But none was beautiful enough for a table you’re proud of. So we decided to design them ourselves.

Olea, the olive tree

In Latin, olea means the olive tree: the tree of long summer tables, of sharing and of meals that linger. It gave the brand its name, and its branches to our most iconic pattern, Classic Olive.

From there came eight collections, painted in watercolor, available from placemat to cup, and all designed to go together.
